6 Use only compatible Reduced Size MultiM ediaCa rds (RS-MMC) wi th this device. Other m emory cards, such as Secure Digit al (SD) car ds, do not fit in the memory card slot and are not compatible with this device.

8 Charge the battery 1 Connect a compatible charger to a wall outlet. 2 Connect the power cord to the device. The battery indicator bar starts scrolling. The device can be used while charging. If the battery is completely discharged, it may take a few minutes before the chargin g indicator is shown.
9 To control the music player, use th e media keys of the remote control unit. To adjust the earpiece volume, press the volume key on the side of the remote control unit. To lock the remote control keys, slide the lock switch on the side of the re mote control unit.
10 Your service provider may have requested that ce rtain features be disabled or not activated in your device. If so, they will not appear on your device menu. Your device may also have been specially configured. This confi guration may in clude changes in menu names, menu order, and icons.
