The plastic components are id entified by markings, e.g. >PE<, >PS<, etc. Please dispose of the pa ckaging materials in the appr opriate container at your local wa ste disposal fac ilities.
8 818 35 95-02/7 Befor e Use Pa c k a g i n g 0 1. Remove all adhesive tape and packaging from the interior of the appli- ance. 3 Any remnants of adhesive can be r e moved with white spirit. 2. Remove the transport pr otection piec es and pull off the adhesive tape.

818 35 95-02/7 11 Opening the door If the door is closed when the applia nce is in oper ation, it cannot be immediately opened again, because a vacuum occurs which holds the door closed until pressur e has been equalised. The door can be opened again after sever al minutes.

818 35 95-02/7 15 Prior to Initial Start–Up 1 Befor e connecting the appliance to the mains and putting it into oper- ation for the fir st time, leave the a ppliance to stand for 30 minutes if was tr ansported upright. After tr ans port on its side, the appliance must be left to stand for 2 hour s before putting it into operation.

818 35 95-02/7 19 T emper atur e memory 3 While the curr ent free zer temper atur e is abo ve -1 1 °C, the warmest temperatur e the fr eezer has reached during the alarm period is s tor ed and can be called up as often as wished by pressing the ALARM OFF button.
20 818 35 95-02/7 Fr eezing Except for the bottom drawer , which serves for storage purposes, all compartments and drawer s are suited for fr eezing small quantities of fr esh food. The two upper compartments are suited for fr eezing of lar ge quantities of food.
