Slide th e releas e lever i n the directio n of the arrow and open the card/battery door .

17 (ENG) VQT 2X30 Setting the Menu This sectio n describes how to select the Programme AE Mode setting s , and the same sett ing can be used for the [MOTION PICTURE] menu , [PLA YBACK] menu and [SET UP] menu as well. Example: S etting [AF M ODE] from [ Ø ] to [ š ] in the Programme AE Mode.

VQT2X30 ( ENG) 20 [REC] Mode: ñ T aking pictures using the auto matic function ( ñ : Intelligent Auto Mo de) The camera will set the most appro priate settings to match the subject and t he recordin g condition s so we recommend th is mode for begin ners or those who want to leav e the settin gs to the camera and t ake pictur es easily .

Y ou can t ake pictures with greater freedom by chan ging various s etting s in [REC] menu.
