3 CE Declarations of Conformity: This appliance has been designed, constructed and marketed in compliance with safety requirements of EEC Directive 2006/95/EEC (L ow voltage) and requirements of EMC Directive 2004/108/EEC.
4 Important Never store inflammable or explosive items and strong corrosive acids or alkalis in the appliance. This is a household appliance, which is produced in accordance with the national standard. It is intended for food storage only , not for storage of blood, medicine and biological products.
5 Before First Use Y ou must allow the fridge to settle for at least twenty four hours prior to switching the power on. It is recommended that you clean the interior of the appliance prior to first use, using a solution of bicarbonate of soda and warm water and then thoroughly drying the interior .
6 Setting the T emperature Y ou must allow the fridge to settle for at least twenty four hours prior to switching the power on. T o adjust the temperature turn the thermostat control knob clockwise (from o ) to the required level. The temperature becomes colder the higher the number on the control.
7 Use Fridge • Never put liquids in the refrigerator uncovered. • Never put hot foods in the refrigerator . W arm food should be allowed to cool to room temperature before being put into the refrigerator .
8 Care and Cleaning Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply before any cleaning or maintenance. The fridge sections should be cleaned using a solution of bicarbonate of soda and lukewarm water . Do not use abrasive products or detergents.
9 Defrosting the Fridge The fridge is self-defrosting. Any water created will run out of the fridge through the channel at the back of the fridge. It is important to keep the channel clear at all times. The defrosted water is collected in the evaporating tray at the back of the appliance.
10 T roubleshooting If you have any problems with your appliance, you should check the troubleshooting prior to calling CD A Customer Care to prevent unnecessary service calls and potential cost. The appliance is not working • Check there is power to the appliance: • The house fuses are intact and the fuse in the plug has not blown.
11 There is water in the lower part of the refrigerator compartment • The drain hole in the channel at the back of the compartment is clear . Installation This appliance must never be installed close to heat sources i.e. heating elements, radiators, cookers or in damp places.

Fig. 6 - Fitting the spacer piece T ake out the spacer piece (11) located on the side panel and remove the protective tape.
13 Fig. 7 - Adjusting the appliance height The height of the appliance can be adjusted by the help of adjustable feet to fit the furniture height. Use a spirit level to ensure the appliance is level. Fig. 8 - Aligning the appliance Slide the appliance into the kitchen unit and align the hinge surface with front surface of the kitchen unit.
14 Fig. 10 - Fitting the decor door bracket Unscrew and remove the nuts and washers from the appliance door . Place fixing bracket on the appliance door by inserting the holes to adjustment bolts. Dimension B= Measure from the underside surface of kitchen unit to the bottom of fixing bracket.
15 Fig. 12 - Fitting the decor door Place the decor door onto the appliance door by inserting adjustment bolts into the slots on the fixing bracket. L ocate the washers and screw the nuts onto the adjustment bolts. Fig. 13 - Aligning the decor door Close the door and check the alignment with the other unit doors.
16 Fig. 15 - Fitting the decorative cover Fit the decorative cover (4) on the decor door fixing bracket. Fig. 16 - Fitting the plinth Fit the plinth section, providing minimum 25 mm gap between the cabinet door and fix it. Never cover over the ventilation slots.
17 R eversing the Door It is possible to reverse the door on this appliance, if required. T o do so, follow the steps below: 1. Open the door . 2. L oosen the hinge fixing screws (1) and remove the door . 3. R emove the door fixing screws (2). 4. R emove the cover caps (3).
18 Electrical Information W arning! This appliance must be earthed. The mains lead of this appliance has been fitted with a BS 1363A 13 amp fused plug. T o change a fuse in this type of plug, follow the steps below: 1. Remove the fuse cover and fuse .
19 As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:- • The wire which is coloured GREEN and YELLO W must be connected to the terminal which is marked with letter (E) or by the Earth symbol or coloured GREEN and YELL O W .
