5 Daily Oper ation • Container s with flammable gases or liquids can leak at low temperatur es. Ther e is a risk of an explosion! Do not store any container s with flamma- ble materials such as, spr ay cans, fire extinguisher r efill cartridges etc in the r efrigerator/fr eezer .
6 Remove tr ansport packaging The appliance and the interior fittings ar e protected for tr ansport. • Remove all adhesive tape and packing pieces fr om the interior of the appliance. Disposal of old Appliances For envir onmental reasons, r efriger ation appliances must be disposed of pr operly .
7 Oper ating and indicator panel A. Light ON/OFF B . Button ON/OFF ON: Pr ess the button (B). The pilot light (A) switches on. OFF: K eep button (B) pressed until the pilot light (A) and the temper ature display switches off. C - E. T emper atur e setting buttons The temper ature can be adjusted between -15°C and -24°C.
8 Attention! During the stability period by the fir st starting the temperatur e displayed can not corr espond to the setting temperatur e. During this time it is possi- ble that the temper ature displayed is lower than the setting temper ature.
9 H Alarm light I Alarm r eset button In the event of an abnormal temper ature rise inside the fr eezer (e.g. after a power cut) warning light (H) will start to flash and a buzzer will sound. After the temper ature has r eturned to normal, the warning light (H) will continue to flash, although the buzzer has stopped.
Fr eezing and storing frozen food Y ou can use your freezer for fr eezing fresh food your self. • The temper ature in the fr eezer compartment must be –18 °C or colder befor e freezing food. • Please observe the fr eezing capacity given on the r ating plate.
11 3. Place frozen foods in the dr awers sorted by type, as far as possible. Pr eparation of Ice Cubes 1. Fill the ice cube tr ay 3/4 full with cold water , place it in the freezer com- partment and leave to fr eeze. 2. To loosen the fr ozen cubes, either twist the ice cube tr ay or hold it under running water for a few seconds.
