5 Important safety inf ormation General safety pr ecautions K eep these instructions and they should r emain at the appliance when m ov i n g away o r changin g o wner . This appliance is designed f or storing f ood, domestic use accordin g to these instructions only .
6 Do not put hot pot to the plastic parts . Do not store flammable gas and liquid in the appliance , because the y ma y e xplode. Do not store carbonated drink s, bottled drink s and bottled fruits in the froz en food compartment. Check and clean the outlet o f melting w ater coming durin g defrostin g reg- ularly .
7 Installin g the appliance T ransportation, unpackin g It is recommended to deliv er the appliance in original pack agin g, in vertical position considering the pr otective w arning on packa ging. After each transportation the appliance must not be switched on f or appro x.
8 Placement The ambient temperatur e has an effect on the energy consumption and proper oper ation of the appliance . When placing, tak e into consideration that it is practical to oper ate the appliance betw een ambient temperature limits accor ding to the climate class that is giv en in the chart belo w and can be f ound in the data label.
9 If it is una v oidable because o f furnishing and the appliance has to be stood near a cooker tak e these minimum distances into consideration: In case o f gas or electric cooker 3 cm must be left, when it is less put a 0,5-1 cm non-flam insula- tion betw een the tw o appliances .

14 Startin g Up - Setting the T emperatur e 1. Plug the mains plug into the mains socket. 2. Press (A) button. The appliances start. 3. Press either the (B) or (D) button. The temper ature displa y switches o v er and the DESIRED temperatur e currently set flashes on the temperatur e displa y .

18 Startin g Up - Setting the T emperatur e 1. Plug the mains plug into the mains socket. 2. Press (A) button. The alarm li ght (M) flashes since the temperature is r eached. The buzzer sounds . 3. Pressin g button (L) the buzzer stops . 4. Press either the (I) or (K) button.
19 Switchin g the Appliance o ff T o switch off, hold do wn the (A) button. If the appliance is not goin g to be used for an e xtended period: 1. T urn off the appliance . 2. R emo v e the mains plug or switch off or turn out the cir cuit breaker or fuse .
20 Storin g in the freez er It is practical to r eplace frozen pr oducts into the basket(s) after fr eezing has finished. Doing this y ou could make room in the fr eezing compartment f or another freezin g. Intermediate freezing does not deterior ate f oods already stored.
21 Some useful inf ormation and advice 1. The v ariable shelv es are w orth pa ying attention to, which increases the usabil- ity o f the fresh f ood compartment considerably . R earrangin g the shelves is also possible when the door is open at an angle o f 90 .

23 Maintenance Defr osting Bleeding part o f the moisture o f cooling chamber s in f orm of fr ost and ice goes with the oper ation of the applince . Thick frost and ice has an insulatin g effect, so it reduces cooling efficienc y as the temperetaur e increases in the cooling chamber s , they need mor e energy .
24 R egular cleaning Clean the equipment regularly . Don't use deter gents , abrasiv e or stron gly odorous cleaners , w axy polish- ing a gents or disinfectants or alkoholic pr oducts f or cleaning the equip- ment. Bef ore cleaning pull out the w all plug of the equipment fr om the outlet.
25 If somethin g does not w ork During oper ation of the appliance some smaller but anno ying trouble can o ften occur , which does not require callin g a technician out. In the follo wing chart inf ormation is given about them to a v oid unnecessary charg es on serv- ice .
26 Problem The compressor oper- ates continually . The appliance does not w ork at all. Neither cooling, nor lightin g w orks . The appliance is nois y . P ossible cause The thermostatic control is set wr ong- ly . Doors ar e not shut properly or do not close tightly .
27 Ho w to chang e the bulb Should the light f ail to w ork y ou can chang e it as belo w: Break the cir cuit of the appliance . Unscre w the scre w holding the co v er (1), press the r ear hook (2) and at the same time slide the co v er in the direction indicated b y arro w (3).
28 Electrical R equirements Bef ore switching on, mak e sure the electricity supply v oltag e is the same as that indicated on the appliance ratin g plate. The appliance is supplied with a 13 amp plug fitted. In the e vent o f ha ving to chang e the fuse in the plug supplied, a 13 amp AST A appro ved (BS 1362) fuse must be used.
