6 Remove T r ansport P ackaging The appliance and the interior fittings ar e pr otected for transport. • Remove all adhesive tape and packing pieces fr om the interior of the appliance. Y ou can remove any r emnants of adhesive using white spirit. W arning! Before disposing of old appliances make them inoper able.

Interior Accessories Stor age shelves • Y ou should always slide one of the full size glass stor age shelves into the lowest set of guides, above the salad dr awers, and keep it in this position.
Adjusting the upper door r ack • Depending on the food stor ed, the upper door r acks can be changed to other holder s or r emoved. Take out the food fr om the door , pr ess the door r acks diagonally upwards at their edges, r eposition them, and pr ess them back into place.
10 Fr eezing and storing frozen food Y ou can use your freezer for fr eezing fresh food your self. Important! • The temper ature in the fr eezer compartment must be –18 °C or colder befor e freezing food. • Please observe the fr eezing capacity given on the rating plate.
11 Fr ozen food Symbols/Fr eezing Calendar • The symbols on the dr awers show differ ent types of frozen goods. • The number s indicate storage times in months for the appr opriate types of fr ozen goods.
12 Switching off the appliance To switch off the appliance, turn the temperatur e regulator to position "0" or disconnect fr om the electricity supply . If the appliance is not going to be used for an extended period: 1. Remove all r efrigerated and deep-fr ozen packages as well as ice trays.
