Ther e ar e two r ecessed handles at the front of the base and at the back of the appliance at the top for impr o ved gripping. 0 1. Grip the appliance with the r e cessed handles positioned as in the dr aw- ing, and tr anspor t the appliance.
Before Use 818 19 27-00/ 8 9 2. Remove the transport pr otection pieces and pull off the adhesive tape. 3. W ash the inside of the appliance with lukewarm water with a little bicarbonate of soda added (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water). Do not use soap or deter g ent as the smell may linger .

Remove the door fitting on the lower right (1) and r eposition the door bearing cover fr om the lower left to the right of the door (2), place the door fitting supplied in the lower left of the door (3). Car efully remove the door to the fr ont and place on one side.

818 19 27-00/ 8 17 T emperatur e Display The temperatur e display can indicate several pieces of information. • During normal oper ation, the temperatur e curr ently present in the refriger ator (ACTUAL temperatur e) is displayed, the corresponding light illuminates.

It must always r emain in this position, so that fruits and veg- etables re main fresh longer . The r emaining storage shelves can be adjusted to various heights: 0 1.

If the lar ge di vider is inserted in the middle of the bin the right hand side can be further divided by inserting the small divider in the middle or r ear position. 3 The ventilation grille above the salad bin impr oves air cir culation so that groceries keep for longer .
22 818 19 27-00/8 Pr oper Stor age For physical reasons, the r efrigerator compartment has differ ent temperatur e zones. The coldest zone is on the lowest stor age shelf immediately above the fruit and vegetable trays. Warmer zones ar e the upper storage shelves and door r acks.
818 19 27-00/ 8 23 Hints and Tips Normal Oper ating Sounds • Y ou may hear faint gurgling or bubbling sounds when the r efrigerant is pumped thr ough the coils or tubing at the rear , to the cooling plate/evapor ator .

Maintenance and Cleaning 818 19 27-00/ 8 25 Replacing the Light Bulb 1 Wa r n i n g ! Danger of electrical shock! Before r eplacing the light bulb switch appliance off and r emove the mains plug.

They have a relatively low boiling-point, indeed so low , that the warmth from the food stor ed in the fridge or freezer can cause the refriger ant to boil and vaporise.
