2 1 Precautions Installation · Do not cover or block the ventilatio n ports on the rear of t he monitor. · Do not install the monitor close to heat source s such as radiators or air ducts , or in a location exposed to direct sunlight, exce ssive dust, mecha nical vibration, or sh ock.
3 · Do not insert sharp obje cts or spill liquid into the monitor through v e ntilation holes. They may cause accident fire, electric s hock or failure. · Do not attempt to service th is p roduct yourself , as opening or removi ng cov ers may expose you to dangerous voltage potent ials or other risks.
4 2.2 Identifying Parts and Cont rols Side view Pow e r sw i t c h T u rns the monitor on or off . LED indicator Indicates the monito r’ s operatio nal mode; green for regular oper ation, and amber for po wer sa ving mode. A UT O button Automatica lly adjusts the picture and perfo rmance.
5 · DC +12V Power inlet Pro vides +12V DC power to the mo nitor . · VGA-In D-sub 15-pin connector for V GA signal. · VIDEO-In (Optional) Mini-dim 8- pin connector for S- Video or CVBS signal. 2.3 Setup Please follow the foll owing instructions to setup monitor .
6 · Connecting to a Macintosh or compatible computer · Connecting to a video equipment with S- Video connector (Optional) · Connect ing to a video equipment wi th CVBS jack (Optional) Step 3 : With the monitor turned off , connec t the monitor end power plug of ad aptor to the pow er jack of the monito r .
7 3 Customizing Monitor Press an y one of the button to activate OSD menu. 3.1. If the signal is coming from V G A-In (PC, Mac, W orkstation, etc), 3.1.1 Selecting the OSD menu Language This OSD syste m supports Engl ish, French, German, Spanish, and Italia n languages.

9 3.1. 4 Adjusting H. P osition and V . P osition The H. P osition and V . P osition settings al low you to adjust the ce ntering of th e picture . Y ou may just press button to optimize both the settings automatically . If you want to customize the se ttings for specific application, plea se fo llow the st eps.
10 3. Press or button to select between 93 (9300K col or), 65 (650 0K color), or 55 (5500K color), and press or button to confirm your selection. 4. 11 3.1.7 Setting input signal prior ity (T O VI DE O-I N) This monitor wi ll de tect the video input source (V GA-In or VI DEO-I N) automatically . Y ou may switch the input signal prio rity if both inputs are connected. 1. Press any one of button to activate OSD menu.
