10 Using y our Rang e Cooktop Burners The dra wing by each knob indicates which b ur ner that knob controls. Each bur ner has a special saf ety device that stops the fl ow of gas if the fl ame goes out. Push in and tur n a knob to the ( ) lighting position.
11 Using y our Rang e 3. T ur n burner control knob to OFF position when fi nished. Y ou can remo ve the burner cap and head f or cleaning, see page 23. Y ou should wipe the enamel top surf ace of the range around the cooktop b ur ners as soon as possible after spills occur .
12 Using y our Rang e The Ovens During use the appliance becomes hot. Care should be taken to av oid touching the heating elements inside the oven. The clock m ust be set to the time of day bef ore the ovens will w or k. See ‘The Clock’ section for instructions on setting the time of day .
13 Using y our Rang e The Clock Setting the time of da y Setting knob Adjusting knob When the clock is fi rst connected the displa y will fl ash ( ) and ( ) alternately .
14 Using y our Rang e T ur n the Setting knob to the ( ) position. The displa y will show the current time of da y plus the ‘cook period’ you just set. Use the adjustment knob to set the ‘Stop time’ you need. ‘Stop Time’ shows. A UT O will show in the displa y .
15 Using y our Rang e Cooking using the timer (Dela yed baking) The timer can be used to tur n just one ov en or both on and off automatically . The star t and stop time must be the same f or both ov ens but diff erent cooking temperatures can be set.
16 Using y our Rang e M ulti-function o ven The left hand ov en of your r ange is Multi- function. It has many v ar ied uses. We suggest you k eep a careful ey e on your cooking until y ou are f amiliar with each function. Remember - not all functions will be suitable f or all food types .
17 Using y our Rang e Conventional o ven (top and base heat) This function combines the heat from the top and base elements. It is par ticularly suitable f or roasting and baking pastr y , cak es and biscuits.
18 Using y our Rang e Oven racks the rac k guard should be at the back pointing upwards As well as the fl at racks some models are supplied with drop rac ks The drop rac ks increases the possibilities f or ov en rack spacing. fl a t r a c k drop rac k The ov en rac ks can be easily remov ed and refi tted.
19 Using y our Rang e S torage The bottom dra wer is f or stor ing ov en tra ys and other cooking utensils. It can get v er y w ar m, don’t store anything in it which ma y melt or catch fi re.

The ov en control settings and cooking times giv en are intended to be used only as a guide. Individual tastes may require the temperature to be altered to pro vide a preferred result.

22 Using y our Rang e Cleaning your range Essential inf or mation Bef ore thorough cleaning isolate the electr icity supply . Remember to switch on the electricity supply bef ore use. Never use paint solvents, caustic cleaner s, biological powders, bleach, chlorine based bleac h cleaners, coarse abrasives or salt.
23 Using y our Rang e Cooktop b urners Some models hav e a separate tr im ring, which fi ts on the b ur ner head. The burner heads and caps can be remov ed f or cleaning.
24 Using y our Rang e Ovens Some of the ov en lining panels can be remov ed f or cleaning and for cleaning behind. They can also be put into a dishwasher . Remov e the rac ks fi rst. The right hand fanned o ven has a remo vab le ov en roof - slide the roof liner f orward and re move.
25 Using y our Rang e The oven is not cooking e venly Do not use a tin or tra y larger than 11 3 / 8 ” x 13”. If you are cooking a large item, be prepared to tur n it round during cooking. If two rac ks are used, check that space has been left f or the heat to circulate.

F ree from the bottom tag. When refi tting the co ver fi rst locate it on the bottom tag second locate the two side tags and then replace the screws .
