Corsair Link v2.4 Manual Initial Set- up Placing devices within the chassis When you first star t up Corsair Link, there will b e a list of auto-detected de vices on the lef t column. You can drag and drop the devices lis ted from the left-hand sid e of the screen and place th em anywhere on th e chassis.
Changing devi ce propertie s Temperature Se ns o r Co nfiguration To change the proper ties of any de vice or monitoring function, simply right click or double click on any device ic on . This will bring up the properties window on the right hand side.
Device Configurat ion Because some moth erboards report RPM speed s differently d epending on th e chipset being used, it may be necessary to set a speed divider for th e pump RPM as needed. If the RPM seems abnormall y high or low co mpared to what you have, enable the speed di vider.
2. Balanced - Balanced mode is a pre-set mode that is de signed to balance the perf ormance and noise levels of the fans. Typically this is a very low n oise level and R PM at low loads, and a faster, but not o bnoxi ous noise level at higher l oads. 3.
4. Custom - This setting will allow you to fully customiz e the fan spe ed based of temp erature thresholds and ranges . For a CPU c ooler, make sure each fan is tied t o your CPU tempera ture or Coolant T emperature, an d then you can personaliz e the fan perf ormance profile to your liking.
6. Maximum RPM - This option overrid es any custom s ettings and runs the fan at it maximum speed, regardles s of temperature. LED Setup Selecting the LEDs (if equipped) allows you to custo mize the LED lighting within your case. You can choose the col or and whether or not to have normal or cycling lighting .
Adding an LED to a group and linking to properties You can add LEDs to device groups and then link the c olors to trigger events with in the group, for example, i f a certain temperature goes too high, you can ha ve the L EDs change color t o signify that.
LED Custom Name . You can customi ze the LED na me by putting yo ur own preferred labe l. Click the bo x right next to “ Name” unde r Configuration panel.
Adding a devi ce to a contro l group In the Groups tab, you can group devi ces together usi ng the drag and drop method and assign them to cont rol groups. Simply drag devic es from the rig ht hand column int o the control gr oup you want them to be in.
Closing the configurati on panel shows th e device color ke y . Saving a Profile You can save your pr ofile, load e xisting profiles or create new pr ofiles from th e File menu. Y ou can have mul tiple profiles for diff erent uses, such as quiet, l ow power co mputing or full perf ormance for gamin g.
To create a new pr ofile, go to Options tab and under Profile s ection click ne w. A window will p op up where you can name of the profile you would like to create then save it. Power Tab The Software will automati cally detect a Corsair PSU that is compatib le with Corsair Link.

Options Tab General Option s This section is wher e you can manage Corsair Link settings. You can select wheth er you want t o have your temperature scale measured in °C or °F values. You will have the option t o run Corsair Link during Windows start up or you simply run it manually once Windows has fully loaded.
Once the device is selected , click the box next to the fi le tab, then select the Firmware file upd ate you have downloaded and clic k open. Select start to initiate the firmware update. The progress of th e upgrade will b e shown as a percen tage in the dialogu e box.
