If any part of this trimmer is missing or should break, bend, or fail in an y way; or should any component fail to perf orm properly: SHUT OFF the power switch and remove the trimmer plug from the power source and have the missing, damaged or failed parts replaced BEFORE resuming operation.

21 20 OPERA TION cont. OPERA TION Y our edger / trimmer has an extended length (4-finger) ON / OFF trigger switch and a safety ON button, both of which have to be depressed to turn the trimmer on. The trigger switch will not depress until the safety ON button is depressed.
