28 U2781A User’s Guide 3 Features and Functions Introduction The Agilent U2781A USB modular instr ument chassis pro vides six USB modular slots and equipped with 200 W universal A C po wer supply and built- in ov er current protection circuit. A 10MHz system reference clock is supplied t o each modules slots.

Features and Functions 3 U2781A User’s Guide 35 Fan Speed Monitoring The U2781A USB modular instrument chassis is also integ rated with a fan speed control circuit. It is used to monitor the fan status and speed. The control circuit communicates wi t h backplane USB device via I 2 C interface.
