Fue l: Using a good grade of unleaded, regular gasoline (f or a g asoline engine), fill the fuel tank (besid e the engine on the left or right side of t he mower).

If the e ngin e do es not start in thi s ti m e, wait abou t 30 second s and try aga in .
15 d. Detach the mower driv e belt. e. Remov e six linchpin s (See Fig. 6) (4) from the deck and (2) from the front of the mower . Remov e the linchpins on the left and right rear side of the cutter d.
16 e. Pull the tensio ner pulley awa y from the belt and remov e the PT O belt then remove t he blade driv e belt. f . Revers e the process to install the belt.

18 6. Fuses: T here are two fuses lo cate d in the wir - in g bet w ee n t h e ignit ion and sta r t s w itch and ot he r el ec tr ic al co mpo n en t s. T hi s is a st an - dard plug -in t ype auto moti v e fuse rated at 20 am p f or the ma i n harnes s an d 10 amp f or the dig it al fu el i nj e ct or an d fu el pum p.

20 c. Locate jam nuts. (Ref erence control assem bl y in par ts list ). d. Loosen jam nuts on both ends of rod con- nectors. See Co ntrol Assembly in t he Illus- trat ed P ar ts Book (ONL Y if mower creeps.) e. Star t unit and push throttle all t he wa y on.

22 Replace the fuel l ine on the carburetor . Star t the engine an d allow it to run out of fuel. This wi ll pre vent g um and v arnish deposits f rom f or ming. Replac e the fu el fil- ter. g. Gas ol ine Engine Onl y: Rem ov e the spar k plugs and pour approximately one ounce of oil into each cylinder .
