4 OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Place the closed waffle maker on a clean, flat surface where you intend to use it. 2. Plug the power cord into a standar d electrical outlet. 3. Move the temperature slide contr ol to the desired br owning setting – setting #1 for the lightest color waffles and setting #5 for the darkest color waffles.

6 TIPS TO MAKE PERFECT W AFFLES • Setting #1 will produce the lightest color waffles. Setting #5 will pr oduce the darkest color waffles. Experiment to determine which setting produces the best waf fle color for you. • For evenly filled waf fles, pour the batter onto the center of the lower grid and spread out evenly to the edges.
7 W affle Mix W af fles Makes 4 waffles 1¾ cups W affle Mix (See W affle Mix recipe) ¾ cup reduced-fat milk 1 large egg, lightly beaten 1½ tablespoons vegetable oil 1. Put all the ingredients into a medium mixing bowl. Whisk until smooth. Let batter rest 5 minutes before using.
