This manual will provi de you w ith information on how to operate and care for y our pr oduct in order that y ou gain the maximum benefit from it .
Page 3 Installa tion • Insert the oven into the cupboard. • Open the door to ex pose the fixing holes in the side trims . • Secure the oven by 4 countersunk sc rews (fasteners are not supplied ) .
Page 4 The control panel Minute m inder • Suppose that you wish to time the boiling of a 5 minute egg. • First boil the water • Press and hold button 1 . The display w ill show 00.0 0 • Press button 6 until the display shows 00.05 • Release the buttons and place the egg in the boiling water .
Page 5 Autobake is intended for dishes such as roas ts and casseroles. These are not af fected by a waiting period in a cold oven. • Prepare your meal and place i t in the ov en. • Set the cooking period re quired by pressing buttons 2 and 6 until the desired period is displayed.
Page 6 When activated, the ‘Key Lock ” prevents unauthorised pers ons or children operating the oven. T o Activate the key lock: 1. Ensure that the timer is in m anual mode. ( Cancel an y active programmes) 2. Press buttons 1 and 2 simultaneously and hold them down for approximately 8 seconds.
Page 7 Multifunction oven 1 Fan only ( DEFROSTING) • Set the multi fun ction knob to fan only . In this mode the fan at the back of the oven will circulate air at ro om temperature, substantially re ducing the defrosting period re- quired for frozen food.
Page 8 4 Thermofan oven Cooking • Set the multifunction selector to Thermofan oven and the oven thermostat to the re- quired temperature. • The indicator light will glow and remain on until th e oven has reached the sele cted temperature. When the indicator light switche s off, the food should be placed in the oven.
Page 9 Baking guide • Thermofan baking is done with the o ven trays in position. • For small items the entire area of each tray may be utilised. Larger items sh ould be placed towards the front of each tray . • All ovens extract a certain amount of moistu re from the f ood being cooked.
Page 10 6 Conventional grilli ng • The oven door must r e main closed when grilling. • Use only a wire shel f when grilling as the intense heat could warp the baking tr ay . • Set the multifunction knob to conventional grill. • Set the oven thermostat to the grill pos ition.
Page 11 Removing the inner door glass . (Where fitted) • The glass may be removed for cleaning pur- poses by removing the two screws which hold it in place. • It is now possible to clean the inside of the outer glass if requir ed. • W ash the glass in hot soapy water , rinse and dry .
Page 12 Cleani ng t he oven • Switch off the electrical po wer supply before cleaning a ny part of the appliance. • Open the oven door and allo w the oven to cool down. • For your convenience, the shelve s, bake trays, the elem ent guar d and side racks may be re- moved to im prove access.
Page 13 St ainless steel is not adversely affected by normal household use but because of it’ s reputation for durability , it is sometimes assumed to be inde structible, and therefore sub- jected to misuse or even abuse. Care sh ould be taken to avoid such ‘abnormal u se’.
