4 Installation ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ English Locating the Data Plate The dataplate bearing the model and ser ial number and technical data is located on the upper right-hand section, inside the appliance (for P ortable units, it is located on the inside of the lid).
5 Installation ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ English Electrical Connection Bef ore connecting the appliance to the pow er supply , check that the line v oltage corre- sponds to the indications on the appliance rating plate and those of the compressor plate. This appliance complies with EC directive 89/336 go verning radio suppression.
6 Installation ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ English Portable Units - Special Considerations Since P or table units can be used in a v ariety of applications, and connected to a v ariety of pow er sources, the f ollowing must be considered: • Cigarette lighters may not pro vide sufficient voltage and power to start and operate a por table unit.
