2 HAS-K250 Installation of this product requires spec ial tec hnical sk ills. Ask your dealer or ser vice c enter (for de tails, see the User’s Manual supplied with the LCD projector) to handle the installation work. Be sure to ob ser ve the fo llowing inst ruc tio ns when in stalling a n LCD projector.

ENGLISH 5 HAS-K250 Remo ve the shipping scre ws from the arm assembly (A). The arm assembly (A) is assembled before shipping. Befo re att aching the ar m assembly to a wall, remove the two shipping screws (M5 sc rews with spring washer and flat washer ) as shown in the figure below.
6 HAS-K250 Remo ve the base bracket ( O ) from the arm assembly (A) . Before attaching the ar m assembly to a wall, remo ve the screws to disassemble it as shown in the figure below . Before disassembly , place the ar m assembly on a mat or the protec tive plastic it was shipped in to preven t damaging the floor or the bracket.
ENGLISH 7 HAS-K250 Attach the base bracket ( O) to a wall us ing the anchor bolts (M 1 0 ). The holes in the base bracket (O ) are oval to permit horizontal adjustment. For details on the length and number of the anchor bolt s (M1 0 ) that are required, see “T ools needed for installation” on page 2.

Tightening torque: 0.98 N•m (1 0 kgf•cm ) Attach the ar m (M) to the base bracke t (O ). Inser t the tab at the top of t he arm (M) in the groove at the top of the base bracket (O ).
ENGLISH 13 HAS-K250 Attach the LCD projector to which the bracket ( B ) has been at tached to th e adjusting block (Q ). Tighten the four M4 x 8 round head screws (H). Tightening torque: 0.98 N•m ( 10 k gf•c m ) Connect the cables to the projec tor .
14 HAS-K250 Adjustments T urn the projector on and project an imag e to make adjustments. - 1 . Project an image, adjust the image se t tings and focus on the LCD projector . • Adjust the focus. • Select MIRROR. • Set the D -ZOOM to its maximum value (full screen ).
ENGLISH 15 HAS-K250 Adjust the image. -1 . Loosen the securing screws. ( at the eight locations indicated by the arrows in the figure below) 1. Lo osen the screw on th e side of the arm. 2. Slide the ar m for ward and bac kward to adjust image size.

18 HAS-K250 -1 . The knobs indicat ed by the ar rows can be removed. Place them on the proj ections insi de the front ca p (C ) for storage. W ARNING ■ Adjusting knobs are small par ts that c ould be swallo wed by children and pets and should be kept out of their reach.
ENGLISH 19 HAS-K250 -2. Attach th e front cap (C ) at the front end of t he ar m (M). Engage the left, r ight and center claws. The adjusting knobs c an be removed. Place them on the projec tions inside the f ront cap (C ) for storage. -3.
20 HAS-K250 -5. At tach the a rm cover (E) to the arm (M). Inser t the eight claws in the ar m cover (E) in the eight holes in the arm (M). - 6. Assemble t he c abl e cover as shown in t he fig ure be low. Note: The cab le cover is sup plied w ith t he LCD projec tor.
ENGLISH 21 HAS-K250 (both 4:3 and 1 6: 1 0 screens) • Roll down sc reens and other screens that are not per fec t ly flat tend to subst antially distor t the projec tion sur fac e and cannot be used. Use board screens or ot her flat screens. Bead-t ype sc reens with a high screen gain are not suit able for this projector.
