3 Camera Setup Follow the instruct ions below to setup your n etwork camera ove r Wi -Fi usi ng the EdiView II smartphone app. You can also setup your netwo rk camera using an Ethernet cable or on a co mputer with Edi View Finder – please refer to the user manual on th e included CD -ROM.
4 3. Use a smartphone or tablet to sear ch, download a nd inst all the Edi View II app from Google P lay or the Apple App Store. 4. For iOS users , go t o your iPhone’s Wi -Fi setti ngs and connect to yo ur network camera’s SSID (EdiView.S etu p **) , befo re opening th e EdiView II app.
5 6. Android & iOS us ers select your Wi -Fi network from th e list and then enter your Wi- Fi passwo rd, before clicking “ OK”. If prompted to allow push notifications, please s elect “Yes”. Click the refresh icon to refresh the Wi-Fi list.
6 8. Setup is complete. The camera’s LED should display on and gree n . You should see a live st ream from your net work camera which you can view anytime you are c onnected to the Int ernet. It is recommended that you change your camera’s password.
7 9. If you have a microSD ca rd, insert the card into the microSD slot o n the back on the netwo rk camera:.
8 WPS The WPS (Wi- Fi Protected Setup) but ton is a qui ck and easy alt ernative to establish a secure wireless conne ction between your network camera and your wireless router/a ccess point. 1. Press and hold the WPS b utton on your wireless ro uter/access point for the correct length of ti me to activate its WPS.
9 Using Your Network Camera You can use the ca mera’s web -ba sed management interface to see a live stream and to use t he camera’s functions such as music pl ayer and temperature and humi dity sensor.
10 Reset If you experience problems wit h your network cam era, you can reset the camera back to its factory defaul t setting s. This resets all setting s back to default. 1. Press and hold the WPS/Reset button found on the back pa nel for at least 10 seconds.
