- 5 - ● Interlock switch The interlock s witch (SW902) cuts off the AC mains pow er supply when the lamp cov er is removed. After opening the lamp cover f or replacing the lamp ass’y , place the lamp cover correctly otherwise the projector can not tur n on.
- 6 - Circuit Protections ● Wa rning temperature and power failure pr otection The W ARNING TEMP . indicator flashes red and the projector will automatically turn off when the inter nal tempera- ture of the projector e xceeds the nor mal temperature or when stopping cooling fans or when the internal power sup- ply lines are f ailed.
- 7 - 1 Remov e 5 screws A , 2 screws B , and loosen 2 scre ws C , and then take the Cabinet T op upward off . Note: If you want to remo ve the Cabinet F ront-T op only , y ou do not need to remo ve screws A . Remo ve 2 scre ws B . - 14 - 1 Remov e 4 hex scre ws A and take the LCD/Prism ass’y off upward. 2 Remov e 3 screws B and tak e the Glass Holder , and then pull the polar ized Glass-Out and the wide view glass upw ards off. These glasses are mount- ed f or R, G and B LCD panels respectively .

- 16 - Optical Parts Disassemblies When the optical par ts in the optical unit mounting or assembling, the par ts must be mounted in the specified location and direction as shown in figure belo w .
- 17 - LCD Panel/Prism Ass’y Replacement 1 Remov e the cabinet top and main board follo wing to “Mechanical Disassemblies”. 2 Remov e 4 screws by using the 2.0 mm he x driver and take the LCD P anel/Prism ass’y off upward from the optical unit.
- 18 - R R L L LCD P anel/Prism Ass'y T ype-R LCD P anel/Prism Ass'y T ype-L NO TE: LCD panel/prism assembly should be used with the same type of the optical unit. Confir m that both marking "R" is matched. Confir m that both marking "L" is matched.
The LAMP REPLA CE indicator will light when the total lamp used time (corresponding v alue) reaches 2,500 hours. This is to indicate that lamp replacement is required. The total lamp used time is calculated by using the below e xpression; T otal lamp used time = T eco + T normal x (1.
