Instructions for u se 7 Child Safety • P ackaging components (e. g. films, polystyrene) can be hazar dous to children. Risk of suffocat ion! K eep pa ckaging away from childr en. • Children often cannot r ecognise the hazards associated with handli ng electrical appliances.
Instructions for u se 8 • Allow the washing solution to cool befor e carrying out an emergency emptying operation or cleaning the dr ain pump. • Small animals can chew the power cables and water hoses. Risk of electric shock and danger of wate r damage! Keep small animals away from the washing machine.
Instructions for u se 9 2 Envir onment Tips • The pre-wash cycle is not r equir ed for averagely dirt y washing. This saves washing powder / liquid, water and time (and does not harm the environment). • The washing machine is especially economical when you fully ut ilise the stated filling quantities.

Instructions for u se 11 Contr ol panel Pr ogramme selector The progr amme selector is used to choose the most suitable wash setting (for example, wa- ter level, type of drum move- ment, number of rinses, spin speed) forthe type of wash, as well as the temperatur e of the- detergent solution.

Additional cycles are nece ssary only if the washing is excessively soiled. Depending on the cycle chosen, the various func- tions may be used in combination with each an- other .

With the next progr am start, this will close the solution container and the eco- sluice can function correctly .

For cleaning panels and contr ol parts, do not use furnitur e polish or any aggressive cleaning agents. 0 Wipe off control panels with a damp cloth. Use warm water to do this. Setting up and connection instructions 40 Tips on safety when installing • Do not tilt the appliance on the fr ont edge, or on the right side (looking from the fr ont) . Electrical components may become wet! • Check the machine for damage that may have occurred in tr ansit.

Otherwise the electrical components can get wet. • Never transport the unit without us ing the transport safeguard.

Setting up and connection instructions 43 Pr epare the Installation Location • The installation surface must be cl ean, dry and free of floor wax r esi- due and other lubricating coatings so that the unit does not slide away . Do no t use any lubricants as sliding aids.
Setting up and connection instructions 44 Compensate for Floor Unevenness Floor unevenness can be compensate d for and the height can be cor- rected with the four adjustable scre w feet . The height can be adjusted in a ra nge of +1 0 ... -5 mm. To adjust the feet use the special spanner supplied for removing the transport br aces.

Setting up and connection instructions 46 W ater Inflow A pressur e hose 1.5 m in length is supplied. If a longer inflow hose is requir ed, only a VDE-approved, complete set of hoses with fitted hose scr ew co nnections offered by our Customer Service is permissible.
Setting up and connection instructions 47 Wa te r D rai n a ge The drainage hose can either be connected to a siphon or hung in a wash basin or bath tub . Only original hoses may be used fo r extension purposes (max. 3m on the floor and then up to 80 cm high).
