4 Important Safety Instructions These warnings ar e provided in the inter ests of your s afety . Ensur e you fully understand them befor e installing or u sing the appliance. 7 Y ou can remove any r emnants of adhesive using white spirit. Remove all adhesive tape and packing pieces from the interior of the appliance. Installation Installation Location The appliance should be set up in a well ventilated, dry r oom. Energy use is affected by the ambient temper ature.
8 Reversing the door The side at which the door opens can be changed fr om the right side (as supplied) to the left side, if the installation site r equires. Warning! When changing the side at which the door opens, r emove plug from the mains. Left door opening: Remove the grid from the appliance by pulling it towards.
9 To r everse the opening dir ection of the door , proceed as shown in the figures:.
10 Building the appliance in under a worktop The dimensions of the recessed installation area must corr espond with those indicated in the figure. Remove covering and adjust the bracket locking nuts.
11 Mounting furniture door ☞.
12 Screw appliance into place. Place the covering strip. ☞ ☞.
13 Fitting the plinth Important! For the efficient operation of the appliance, it is important that the original ventilation grid is used. • For an opening height dimension A=820 mm and a plinth height dimension a=1 00 mm, the plinth may be fitted without adjustments.
Electrical Connection Any electrical work requir ed to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. WARNING – THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED The manufacturer declines any liability s hould these safety mea- sures not be observed.

16 Starting up and temper ature r egulation Connect the appliance to the mains electricity supply . When the refriger ator compartment door is opened, the internal light- ing is switched on. The temperatur e selector knob is located on the right hand side of the refriger ator compartment.
17 Interior Accessories Stor age shelves/wire tr ays Various glass or plastic stor age shelves and wire tr ays are included with your appliance - different models have differ ent combinations.
Defr osting The fridge defr osts automatically The rear wall of the fridge cover s with frost when the compr essor is running, and defrosts when the compr essor is off. The water from the thawing frost evapor ates by itself. Switching off the appliance To switch off the appliance, turn the temper ature r egulator to positi on "0".

20 • Do not leave the door open any longer than necessary . • Do not set temperatur e any colder than necessary . • Put frozen food in the fridge to defr ost.
21 Symptom P ossible Cau se The food is too warm. Temper ature is not properly adjusted. Please look in the “Initial Start Up” section. Remedy Light bulb is defective. Interior lighting does not work. Heavy build up of frost, possibly also on the door seal.
22 Changing the light bulb Warning! Ther e is a risk of electric shocks! Before changing the light bulb , switch off the appliance and unplug it, or disconnect from the power supply . Light bulb data: 220-240 V, max. 15 W To switch off the appliance, turn the thermostat knob to position "0".
