Instructions for u se 8 • Allow the washing solution to cool befor e carrying out an emergency emptying operation or cleaning the dr ain pump. • Small animals can chew the power cables and water hoses. Risk of electric shock and danger of wate r damage! Keep small animals away from the washing machine.
Instructions for u se 9 2 Envir onment Tips • The pre-wash cycle is not r equir ed for averagely dirt y washing. This saves washing powder / liquid, water and time (and does not harm the environment). • The washing machine is especially economical when you fully ut ilise the stated filling quantities.

Instructions for u se 13 Additional Pr ogram Buttons The additional progr am buttons are for adapting the washing progr am to the dirtiness of the wash- ing. Additional progr ams are not r equir ed for washing which is not excessively dirty . Va rious functions can be combined with each other , depending on the program.
Instructions for u se 14 Consumption V alues The values for selected progr ams in the following tables were deter- mined under normal conditions. However , ther e is a helpful orientation aid for domestic operation.
Instructions for u se 15 What Does ”Update” Mean? The washing progr ams of your washin g machine are controlled by soft- ware. New types of textiles or new washing powders / liquids could, in the fu- ture, r equire new washing pr ograms. The softwar e can be adapted to these in most cases.
Instructions for u se 16 Befor e the First W ash 0 Carry out a washin g oper ation without wa shing (CO TTON S; KOCH-/ BUNTWÄSCHE, BLANC/COULEURS 95 °C , with half the quantity of washing powder / liquid). This removes r esidues left over from pr oduction on the drum and solu- tion container .

Open the washing detergent dr awer: grip inside the flap on the drawer at the bottom (1) and pull out the drawer as far as it will go (2).

Filter in scr ew connection of the intake hose is blocked. Close the water valve. Unscrew the hose fr om the water valve, r emove the filter and clean it un der running water .

Check the dr ainage hose and replace it if necessary . The washing solutio n pump cover is not correctly closed.

Instructions for u se 39 Carry Out an Emer gency Emptying Operation • When the washing machine no long er pumps off the washing solu- tion, an emergency emptying ope r ation must be carried out.
Instructions for u se 40 When all the washing solution has drained off: 6. Firmly push the plug into the emer gency emptying hose and turn it tight clockwise. 7. Put the emergency emptying hose back into the holder . 8. Insert the flap into the base panel and close.
Instructions for u se 41 5. Replace the pump cover . Laterally insert the webs on the cover into the guide slots and secur ely screw on the cover in a clockwise motion. 6. Close the emergency emptying hose and place it in the holder . 7. Close the flap.

Setting the Child Safety Feature: 0 Use a coin to turn the rotary knob (on the inside of the filling door) clockwise as far as it will go.
