OPERA TION 4.2 Dismounting the T ractor Before dismoun ting, park the tractor and implement on a reasonably level surface, apply the par king brake, idle the engine down , disengage the PTO, and lower t he implement to the ground.

Make sure the tractor is equipped with the correct PTO shaft. Change shaf t s if needed. 2. Shorten or re move the tractor drawbar to avoid interference when rais ing and lowering the mower .

Recommended speed for ef ficient mower performance is between 2 and 5 mph(3- 8 kph).
