6 How to avoid damage to the appliance • Do not line the oven with alumin ium foil and do not place baking trays, pots, etc. on the oven floor , as the heat that builds up will dam- age the oven enamel. • Fruit juices dripping fr om the baking tray will leave stains, which you will not be able to r emove.

10 Befor e using for the first time Setting and changing the current time 3 The oven only operates when the time has been set. When the appliance has been con- nected to the electrical supply or when ther e has been a power cut, the function indicator Time flashes automatically .
11 Initial Cleaning Y ou should clean the oven before using it for the fir st time. 1 Caution : Do not use any caustic, abrasi ve cleaners! The surface could be damaged.
12 Oper ating the Oven 3 The oven is equipped with retr actable buttons for “Oven functions” and “Temper ature selection” . To use, pr ess the relevant button. The button then pops out. Switching the Oven On and Off 1. Turn the oven functions contro l knob to the desired function.

14 Inserting the shelf and r oasting pan 3 Anti-tip device All insertable com ponents have a sm all curved indentation on their left and right edges. This indentation serv es as an anti-tip device and must always point towards the back of the oven. Inserting roasting pan: The anti-tip device must point to- wards the back of the oven.
15 Attaching/Removing the Grill Pan Handle The handle is particularly useful for removing the grill pan and tr ay more easily fr om the hot oven. Attaching the handle Insert the handle at an angle fr .
16 Clock Functions Countdown To set a countdown. A signal so unds after the time has elapsed. This function does not affect the oper ation of the oven. Cook time To set how long the oven is to be in use. End time To set when the oven is to switch off again.
17 2 Switching Off the Time Display By switching off the time di splay you can save ener gy . Switching off the time display Hold down any two buttons until the display becomes dark (approx. 1 0 seconds). 19 Cook time 1. Press Selection button r epeated- ly , until the function indicator Cook time flashes. 2. Using the or button, set the requir ed cooking time. After approx. 5 seconds, the display returns to t he current time. The function indicator Cook time will light up.
20 End time 1. Press Selection button r epeated- ly , until the function indicator End time flashes. 2. Using the or button, set the requir ed switch-off time. After approx. 5 seconds, the display returns to t he current time. The function indicator End time will light up.
21 Cook time and End time combined 3 Cook time and End time can be used simultaneously , if the oven is to be automatically switched on and off at a later time . 1. Using the function Cook time set the period of time that the dish re- quires to cook. In this example, 1 hour .
22 Usage, T ables and Tips Baking Oven function: Pizza Setting , V entitherm ® Fan Oper ated Cooking or Conventio nal Cooking . Baking tins • For Conventional Cooking , dark me tal and non-stick tins are suita- ble. • For Pizza Setting or Ventitherm ® F an Operated Cooking , bright metal tins are also suitable.
23 General Instructions • Insert the tray with the bevel at the fr ont. • With Conventional Cooking or Pi zza Setting you can also bake with two tins next to one another on the oven shelf at the same time. This does not significantly increase baking time.

33 Grill sizes Oven function: Single Economy Grill or Full Width Dual Grill with maximum temperature setting 1 Important: Always grill with th e oven door closed. 3 The empty oven should always be pre-heated with the grill functions for 5 minutes . • When grilling, use the oven shelf and drip pan together .
34 Defr osting Oven function: Fan Contr olled De frosting (no temperature set- ting) • Unpack the food and place it on a plate on the oven shelf. • Do not cover with a plate or bowl, as these can substa ntially lengthen the defrosting time. • For defrosting, place the shelf on the 1st oven level fr om the bot- tom.
35 Making Pr eserves Oven function: Base Heat Finishing • For preserving, use only commer cially available preserve jar s of the same size. • Jars with twist-off or bayonet type lids and metal tins are not suitable . • When making preserves, use the first shelf position fr om the bot- tom .

37 Cleaning and car e 1 War n in g : For cleaning, the appliance must b e switched off and cooled down. War n in g : For safety reasons, do not clean the appliance with steam jet or high-pr essure cleaning equipment. Important: Do not use any abrasi ve cleaners, sharp scr apers or abrasive items .
38 Oven Interior Oven lighting Y ou can switch on the oven light to make cleaning easier . Cleani ng The walls that have a catalytic coat ing ar e self-cleaning. They absorb splashes of fat while the oven is in use. To support this self-cleaning pr oces s, we recommend heating the oven without any food at regular intervals.
39 Shelf Support Rails The shelf support rails on the left and right hand sides of the oven can be removed for cleaning the side walls. Removing the shelf support rails First pull the fr ont of the rail away from the oven wall (1) and then un- hook at the back (2).
40 Oven Lighting 1 War n in g: Ther e is a danger of electric shock! Prior to changing the oven light bulb: – Switch off the oven! – Disconnect from the electricity supply . 3 Place a cloth on the oven floor to protect the oven light and glass cov- er .
41 Oven Door The oven door of your appliance may be removed for cleaning. Removing the oven door 1. Open the oven door completely . 2. Completely fold back the brass- coloured clamping lever on both door hinges. 3. Grip the oven door with both hands on the sides and close it to about 3/4 going past the point of resist- ance.
42 Oven Door Glass The oven door is fitted with three glass panels mounted one behind the other . The inner panels may be removed for cleaning. 1 War n in g: The following steps must be performed only with the oven door removed. If the glass is r emoved while the oven door is attached, the lighter weight may cause it to spring up and cause injury .
43 Inserting the middle glass panel 1. Insert the middle glass panel at an angle from above into the section of the door in which the handle is located ( á ). 2. Lower the middle glass panel and slide it under the lower bracket to- wards the lower door edge as far as it will go ( à ).

45 Electrical Connection The oven is designed to be connected to 230-240 V~(50Hz) electricity supply .
