13 Oper ating the Oven Switching the oven on T urn the o ven functions select or to the d e- sir ed functi on. The power indica tor light lights up. The temperatur e display shows the suggested temperature for the oven function se lected. The oven starts to heat up.
Operating the Oven 14 3 Cooling fan The fan switches o n automatica lly in orde r to keep the appliance’s surfaces cool. When the oven is swit ched off, the fan continues to ru n to cool th e appliance down, then switch es itself off automaticall y .
15 Oper ating the Oven Speedcook After an oven fu nction is selected, wi th the use of the a dditional functio n Speedcook the empty oven can be pre- heated in a relatively short tim e. 1 Important : Do not put th e food to be cooked i nto the o ven, un til Speedcook is completed and the oven is oper ating usi ng the desir ed functio n.

19 Oper ating the Oven Clock Functions Cook t ime T o set how long the oven is to be in u se. End t ime T o set when th e oven is to switch off again. Count dow n T o set a countdown. A signal sounds after th e time has elapsed. This function does not affect the operation of the oven.
Operating the Oven 20 3 How to use the clock funct ions • After a cl ock functi on has been sel ected, th e corr espondi ng functi on indi cator flashes for about 5 seco nds. During this period, the desired times can be set or modified using the / dial.
21 Operating the Oven Count dow n 1. Press the Select button r epeatedly until the functio n indicator Co untdown flashes. 2. Using the / control knob set the de- sir ed countdown (max. 99.00 minutes). The func tion Coun tdown in dicato r li ghts up. When 90% of the time set has elapsed, an audibl e sign al so unds.
