6 Operating Instructions Normal Oper ating Sounds Y ou may or ma y not hear the follo wing sounds from your ne w washer: A. DRAIN HOSE The washer has a f lexib le drain hose to carry water from the w asher to the stand pipe of y our home. Y ou will hear water f lowing into y our stand pipe.

Look f or this symbol on the det ergent label: IMPORT ANT Open and close the dispenser draw er slowly . Closing the draw er too quickl y could result in early dispensing of the bleach or f abric soft ener .
9 Operating Instructions IMPORT ANT T o prev ent fabric damage, do not o verfill the “Liquid Bleach” chamber or pour liquid chlorine bleach directl y onto the load. IMPORT ANT Use of multi-product (det ergent plus sof tener) sheets or color -absorbing sheets NOT recommended.
10 Operating Your Washer, continued Follo w the fabric care label instructions on items t o be dried. For best r esults NO TE T o provide the best care f or your laundry , not ev er y set ting or option is av ailable with e very cycle. If a setting or option is not av ailable f or the cycle select ed, the indicator will not light.
11 P ress the Powe r but ton to turn on the unit. P r ess the icon for the c ycle desired and the indicat or for that c ycle will be illuminated. T o change the cycle once the cycle has begun, pr ess the Pow e r but ton t o cancel the current cy cle, press the Powe r but ton t o turn on unit again, select a ne w cycle, and pr ess Start again.
12 Steam Cy cle Selection Specialty Cyc le Selection IMPORT ANT If washer is paused during the steam portion of a steam cycle , the door will remain lock ed due to higher t emperature in drum. DO NOT f orce open - it will unloc k upon cooling. NO TE • Steam may not necessarily be visib le inside drum during the steam cy cles.
13 Operating Instructions Cyc le Settings Appropriate w ash temperatur e, spin speeds, soil le vel and options will be display ed for each c ycle. The set tings can be changed befor e the cycle is st ar ted. Mak e modifications according t o fiber content, colorf astness and soil lev el.
14 Other Feat ures My Favori tes Af ter some time of initial usage, the w asher will automatically remember the 3 most used cy cles with their set tings and options. T o cycle through this list contin ue to press the My Favorites but ton. Pr ess Start after y our desired cy cle appears .

Saturate with pr e- wash stain r emover or nonf lammable dry cleaning fluid. Baby f ormula, dair y products, egg Use product containing enzymes t o pretr eat or soak stains.
18 T O REFRESH OR CLEAN INSIDE OF W ASHER T o clean and freshen the washer , perform the clean w asher cycle . For best r esults use the clean w asher cycle once a month. P ress the P ower but ton t o wake up the unit. Select the clean washer cy cle by continuing t o press the specialty cy cle icon until clean w asher is display ed.

20 C ar e and Cleaning • Remo ve the dra wer by pulling the dra wer out until it stops . • Reach bac k into the back of the dr awer ca vity and press down firmly on the loc k tab . P ull out the drawer . • Remo ve the inserts from the bleach and f abric soft ener compar tments.
21 Inside Cleaning (Aggr essive) In cases where the c lean washer cy cle along with care and cleaning of rubber gasket f olds isn ’ t done, and sev ere odor , mold, mildew , or residue buildup hav e dev eloped, f ollow the below cleaning procedur e to help alle viate the pr oblem.
