OPERA TION Bef ore using Remov e all secur ing tapes. W ash inside the appliance with luke war m w ater and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water). Setting the temperature The temperature within the appliance is controlled b y the ther mostat situated at the top of the appliance .
5 W a rning If using the appliance with the salad dra wer remov ed, please ensure the vent in the bac k wall of the appliance is not obstructed. D756 P o sitioning the door shelves The door shelves can be easily remo ved f or cleaning. Gently ease the shelf in the directions shown.
6 The freezer compar tment The f our-star freezer compartment is suitable for storage of commercially frozen f ood and f or freezing fresh f oods. Freezing fresh f ood When freezing fresh f oods set the slider control to the “min” position and turn the ther mostat control to a higher setting.
7 Normal Operating Sounds The advanced design of toda y’ s frost free appliances mean you hear unf amilar noises dur ing e veryday operation. The diagram below describes some of the noises you may hear .

For this reason it is recommended that the outer casing of this appliance is only c leaned with warm water with a little washing-up liquid added.
