4 Y our New W asher -Dryer Y our new washing machine, fitted with the Electrolux “JET SYSTEM”, meets all modern requirements for effective treatment of laundry with low water , ener gy and detergent consumption.

6 The Contr ol Panel • Synthetics, wool / hand wash: 500/700 max 900 r .p.m. • Delicates: 500 max 700 r .p.m. By selecting option the last rinse water is not emptied out, to prevent the fabrics from creasing. When the programme has finished, the pilot light of the ST AR T/P AUSE button flashes to indicate that the water must be emptied out.
7 8 Quick w ash button By pressing this button the washing time is reduced as follows: • 62 minutes for cotton 95°C • 73 minutes for cotton 60°C • 68 minutes for cotton 40°C and 30°C • 42 minutes for synthetics • 9 minutes for delicates This option is not available with the wool programme and the Energy saving programme “ E ”.
8 After starting the programme, the remaining time is updated every minute. Delayed start The selected delay (24 hours max) set by means of the relevant button appears on the display for 3 seconds, then the duration of the previously selected programme is displayed.
9 15 Pr o gr amme selector dial The selector is divided into 5 sections: • Cotton, linen • Synthetics • Delicates • W oollens (hand washing) • Special programmes • Reset programme X The selector dial can be turned either clockwise or anticlockwise.
10 • At the end of the soak (after having emptied out the water) you can select the washing programme. T urn first the programme selector dial to X , then select the programme and depress the ST AR T/P AUSE button . = Rinses W ith this programme it is possible to rinse and spin garments which have been washed by hand.
11 3. Measur e out the f abric softener If required, pour fabric softener into the compartment marked (the amount used must not exceed the “MAX” mark in the drawer). Close the drawer gently . 4. Switch the machine on Press the ON/OFF button to switch the machine on.

19 W ash Car e Symbols W ash care labels inside garments recommend how to launder your clothes with the best results. The care labelling code is in line with care labelling used in the rest of Europe. The symbols used make it easy to select the correct programme on your washing machine.
20 Cleaning the dr a w er r ecess Having removed the drawer , use a small brush to clean the recess, ensuring that all washing powder residue is removed from the upper and lower part of the recess. Replace the drawer and run the rinse programme for a few minutes without any clothes in the drum.
21 The dangers of fr eezing If the machine is exposed to temperatures below 0°C, certain precautions should be taken. ● T urn off the water tap. ● Unscrew the inlet hose. ● Unhook the drain hose from the rear support and position the end of this hose and that of the inlet hose in a bowl.
22 Something Not W orking Certain problems ar e due to lack of simple maintenance or oversights, which can be solved easily without calling out an engineer . Before contacting your local Service Force Centr e, please carry out the checks listed below .

26 Unpacking All transit bolts and packing must be removed before using the appliance. Y ou are advised to keep all the packaging for re-use in case the machine is to be transported again. Using a spanner unscrew and remove the rear right bolt. Lay the machine gently on its back, making sure that the hoses are not squashed.
27 W ater dr ainage This appliance is designed to be permanently plumbed into your home's water supply and drainage system. The appliance drain hose should hook into a standpipe, the hook in the drain hose is formed using the plastic “U-Piece” supplied.
28 Special conditions If the floor is carpeted or covered with crumbly or soft material, insert a rigid support base under the feet to prevent noise, vibration or displacement. The base should protrude a few centimetres beyond the edges of the machine.
29 Electrical connection Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. W ARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EAR THED. The manufacturer declines any liability should this safety measure not be observed.
