12 THE GRILL PAN AND HANDLE The gr ill pan is sup plied with a r em ovable hand le. To insert the handl e, press th e button on the ha ndle with the thumb and pi vot the handl e sligh tl y upwards inserting t he lip into t he widest part of the brac k et.
13 · W hen using the centre sec tion of the dual grill, ensure food is positi oned centr all y on the gr ill pan grid in the gril l. · Food sho uld be th oroug hl y dried bef ore gr illing to minim ise splashing. Brush l ean m eats and fish lightl y with a little oil or melted butter to keep them m oist dur ing cook ing.
14 USES OF THE MA IN FAN OVEN PREHE A TI NG The f an oven qu ick ly reaches its tem peratur e so it is not usually necess ary to preheat the ove n. W ithout preheati ng however you may need to add an extra 5 – 10 minutes on the rec om m ended cook ing tim es.
15 TO FIT THE MA IN OVEN SHELVES There ar e 7 she lf posit ions in the oven. Shelves ar e num bered f rom the bottom upwards. The shelves should be fitted with t he str aigh t rods upperm ost on the f ram e and the f orm s towards the back of the ove n.

18 USES OF DEFROST FEA TURE This main f an oven func tion defr osts m os t f oods faster than m ore conve ntiona l methods . It is particu larl y suitable f or delic ate fro zen foods which are to be s erved co ld e.g. cr eam f illed g ateaux , c akes covered with icings or frostings, chees ecak es , biscu its, scones, e tc.
19 Before cleaning always allow th e cooling fan to cool the appliance down before switching off at the electri city supply. CLEANING MATERI ALS Before us ing an y cleani ng m aterials on y o ur applianc e, check that t he y are suita ble and t hat t heir use is rec omm ended b y the m anufac turer.
20 CARE OF STAYCLE AN SURFACES The bac k panel of the f an ov en is c oated with a Staycle an finis h. This should not be clean ed manuall y. Aerosol clean ers must n ot be u sed on Sta yclean surfaces and mu st no t come into conta ct wit h elements or the door seal, as this may cause damage.

The water a nd the f at juices from the joint creat e exces sive spl attering during cook ing – even at norm al tem peratures, as well as causing cond ensat ion. · Coverin g joints during c ook ing wi ll also preven t splashing onto the interi or sur faces .
22 If the door glass panel becomes chipped or has deep scratche s the glass w ill be weakened and must b e repl aced t o p reven t the possibility of the panel shattering. Please cont act your local S ervice F orce Centre who w ill be pleased to advise furth er.

30 CONNECTING TO THE MAINS TERMINAL Warning: This appliance must be earthed. · W e recommend you use a new length of 6mm 2 twin core and earthed ca ble to ensure your s afet y. · Make connecti on as shown in F ig. 12 by proceed ing as f ollo ws:- · Preform wires t o the a ppropr iate shape to s uit fitting int o the m ains term inal bloc k.
31 FITTING INTO THE SPA CE BETWEEN CABINETS IMPO RT A NT: Ensure that the ov en is sw itch ed off at the w all bef ore an y furthe r wo rk is carried out. · Position the applianc e in front of the ca binet.
