8 Remote Controller Dis play Instructions for the r emote controller z The remote controller uses two AAA alkaline battrr ies . Under norm al condition, the batteri es last for about 6 mont hs. Please use two ne w batteries of simila r type (pay attention to the pol es in installing).
9 OPERA TION METHOD AUT O, HEA T , COOL,F AN and DR Y operation Remarks: 1.When “AUT O” mode is set, the air conditioner wil l ad just the fan speed and select the COOL or DR Y mode according to the indoor temperature. 2.When “AUT O” m ode is set, SLEEP an d AUH functions are not available.
10 Clock Setting On T imer Note: 1. When on timer function is set, air conditioner w ill be turned of f immediately . It will be turned on at the set time; symbol “ ON ” will be deleted. If the set tim e is as same to the curr ent time, air conditioner will be turned on at this time of next day .
11 Off T i mer Note: 1. When of f timer function is set, air cond itioner will be turned on immedi ately . It will be turned off at the set time; sym bol “ OFF ” will be deleted. If the set time is as sa me to the current time, the air conditioner will be turned of f at this time of next day .
12 Before S tarting Th is Unit 1) Select a suitable location ,make sure you have easy access to an electrical outlet. 2) Install the F lexible Exhaust H ose and the Adjustable W indow Slider Kit as depi cted in Fig.7 Fig.7a NOTE: Step 2) is required only wh ile using the cooling m ode.
13 Power supply: - Insert the plug o f the air conditioner into a standard three p rong outlet. 2. COOLING OPERA TION - Connect the power and press the “ ON/OFF ” button. - Press the “ MODE” but ton several times until the cooling in dicator light comes on.

17 PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSES SUGGESTED REMEDIES - W ater full indicator blinks, water tank is full. Dump the water in the water tank. - Room temperature is high er than the set temperature. (Heating mode) Reset the temp erature. - Room temperature is lower than the set temperature.
