Introd uction 4 1.0 I NTRODUCTION Congratulations on your choice of the Liebert G XT2-6000RTL630 Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). It provides conditioned power to microcomp uters and other sensitive electronic equipment. Upon generation, AC power is clean and stable.
System Description 5 2.0 S YSTEM D ESCRIPTION 2.1 T ransient V olt age Surge Suppr ession (TVSS) and EMI/RFI Filters These UPS components provide surge protection and filter both electroma gnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI ).
System Description 6 2.5 DC-to-DC Converter The DC to DC converter utilizes energy from the ba ttery system and raises the DC voltage to the opti- mum operating voltage for the inverter. This allows the inverter to operate co ntinuously at its opti- mum efficiency and volt age, thus incre asing reliability.
Major Compo nents 7 3.0 M AJOR C OMPONENT S The GXT2-6000RTL630 is composed of three major a ssemblies to provide easi er handling, installa- tion, and versatility. 3.1 Main Frame and Electronics This 5U cabinet is shipped with out internal batteri es to lighten the UPS for easier installation.
