(a) Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open since open-door operation can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. It is important not to defeat or tamper with the safety interlocks. 3 18 Keep the waveguide cover clean at all times. Wipe the oven interior with a soft damp cloth after each use. If you leave grease or fat anywhere in the cavity it may overheat, smoke or even catch fire when next using the oven.
General Use 1 Do NOT attempt to tamper with or make any adjustments or repairs to door, control panel or any other part of the oven. Do NOT remove outer panel from oven. Repairs should only be done by qualified service personnel. 2 Do NOT operate the oven empty.
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. This appliance is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug.
6 1 Disconnect the AC plug from the outlet before cleaning. 2 Keep the inside of the oven clean. When food spatters or spilled liquids adhere to oven walls, wipe with a damp cloth. Mild detergent may be used if the oven gets very dirty. The use of harsh detergent or abrasives is not recommended.

Set a cooking or other operational time/power as follows. The maximum cooking time is 99 minutes 99 seconds. 11 COOKING IN ONE STAGE 1. Press the " Power " button; “PL 10” will light in the display. 2. Press the " Power " button different times to set the desired power; the display will show the percentage you choose.

14 OPERATION(CONTINUED) QUICK COOK 1. Press " Start/ +30 Sec. " button; the microwave will immediately start cooking with 100% power level. 2. Repeatedly press the " Start/ +30 Sec. " button to increase the cooking time in 30 seconds increments.
15 OPERATION(CONTINUED) 2. Press the desired Auto Cook button; the weight/portion will light in the display (see chart on next page). 3. Press " Start/ +30 Sec. " to start cooking. Auto cook lets you easily cook items in the oven as it will automatically set the times and power levels to give better results than one power only cooking.

17 1. During cooking, when the clock has been set, press " Clock " to check the current time. T ime will be displayed for 3 seconds. Then turn back to the cooking state. 2. In the process of microwave cooking, press " Power " to check the current power.
THE PRINCIPLES OF MICROW A VE COOKING Microwaves are a form of high frequency radio waves similar to those used by a radio including AM, FM and CB. Electricity is converted into microwave energy by the magnetron tube. From the magnetron tube, microwave energy is transmitted to the oven where it is reflected, transmitted and absorbed by the food.
