RECOMMENDED WIRING & AMPLIFIER PO WER Selection of Pr oper Wir e: W e recommend the use of high quality speaker cable. The speaker cable y ou select will ideally be f itted with high quality connector s such as 5/16” (8mm) spade lugs.
Preparation: (1) Separate the par ts of the speaker . Remove the brackets and the knobs. Hook the grille with a bent paper clip, or the tip of a cor kscrew , and gently pull it a way from the cabinet. (2) Wipe off the cabinet, the bracket, br acket knobs, and grille with a damp cloth.

CONNECTING Y OUR "TEMPEST" SPEAKERS The following will assist y ou in connecting the individual speaker s to your amplifier or receiver : (1) Fir st tur n your amplif ier or receiver off to a void damage which may result from accidental shor ting of the speaker leads.
FINAL ADJUSTMENTS (1) After checking that the speaker is in-phase and works cor rectly , angle the speaker for the best sound. (2) Hand tighten the bracket knobs only . P ower tools may o ver -tighten the knob, and strip the threads of the inser t. (3) Check that the entire installation is safe and secure.
