Unpacking the Monitor When you unpack your monitor, make sure you have these items: ❑ EPSON 14” Super VGA Color Monitor ❑ AC power cord (to connect the monitor to a wall outlet) ❑ Video interface cable (to connect the monitor to your computer) ❑ Tilt and swivel base ❑ Warranty card ❑ Registration card.
Attaching the Tilt and Swivel Base Before you attach the tilt and swivel base, cover your work area with a blanket or foam pad to avoid scratching the monitor during assembly. Then follow these steps: 1. 2. Carefully set the monitor face down on the padding so the bottom of the monitor is facing you.
3. Hold the base so the hooks are turned down and position the base next to the bottom of the monitor. 4. Insert the hooks into the slots on the monitor. 5. Slide the base toward the front of the monitor until the latch clicks into the locked position.

The monitor contains a universal power supply, so you can connect it to any wall outlet supplying between 100 and 240 volts. Turning On the Monitor Turn on the monitor by pressing the power button located at the front right of the monitor. Then turn on the computer.
