IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using your iron, basic safe ty precautions should always be followed, including the following: 1. Read all instructions before usin g the iron. 2. Use iron only fo r its intended use. 3. To pro tect against a risk of electrical shock, do not immerse in wate r or other liquids.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS 1. To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another hi gh-wa ttage appli ance on the same circuit. 2. If an extension is absolutely necessary, a 15-ampere rated cord with a polarized pl ug should be used. Cords rated for less ampe rage may overheat.

Before First Use Remove a ny labels, stic kers or tags whic h may be a ttached to the body or the soleplate of the iron before using the iron. Read all instructions carefully. A lways follow the Important Safeguards. IMPORTANT The first time an iron is used, some odor and small white pa rticles may come out of the steam vents.
Installing the Rubber Mat (10) onto the Iron Stand (8) Please note that du ring tra nsportation, t he rubber mat (10) may come off its place. • The iron stand (8) has 5 holes on the circumference of its top. • The rubber mat (10) has 5 pins in the corresponding locations.

How the Water is Pumped to the Iron 1. The water is pumped from the water tank (8A) to the iron (1 4) through the s upply hose (12 ) by a built-in water pump. 2. This water pump is activated b y pulling on t he trigger (3). The wate r pump pil ot light (15) will go on.
Ironing With Steam • Make sure that the Steam Station is unplugged from the power source. • Set the variable steam c ontrol (2) TO “0”. (Fig. 3) • Fill the water tank (8A) with tap water, follo wing the instructions fo r filling the water tank.
Anti-Drip Function Steam ironing is only possible at higher temperatures with conventi onal steam irons. Water may leak from the soleplate if the te mperature selected is too low and therefore th is may cause stains. The anti-drip shut-off functions as follows: At low temperature, the iron will stop steaming.
Burst-Of-Steam Function • By pushing the “Burst-of-Steam” button (6) a po werful shot of steam is emitted from th e soleplate. (Fig. 6) • This steam is useful, for example, when removing stu bborn creases an d can be used during continuous steaming, but do not use burst of steam to o often in a short peri od or you will get water spots.
Steaming in a Vertical Position • Burst-of-Steam (6) can also be a pplied when holding the iron in a vertical position. (Fig. 7) this is useful when removing creases from ha nging clothes, curtai ns, etc… The Burst-of- Steam (6) feature can only be used while ironing at hi gh temperatures at an interval of 5 seconds.
Attaching Iron to the Ironing Board Your Steam Station is equipped wit h a clamp that can be used to attach th e iron stan d (8) to your ironing board (or any other suitabl e surface). (Fig. 10) • Rotate the clamp 90°, so that it points down. • Place the iron stand (8) next to the ed ge of the table with the clamp on the bottom.
Cleaning • Before cleaning, remove the pow er cord (1 1) from the wall outlet and al low the iron to cool down sufficiently. • Scale and other deposits c an be wiped off the soleplate with a damp cloth and some non-scratching (f luid) abrasiv e. • Keep the soleplate smooth: avoid hard contact with metal objects.
