WARNING - RISK OF EXPLOSIVE GASES WORKING IN VICINITY OF A LEAD-ACID BATTERY IS DANGEROUS. BAT- TERIES GENERATE EXPLOSIVE GASES DURING NORMAL BATTERY OPERATION. FOR THIS REASON, IT IS OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE THAT EACH TIME BEFORE USING YOUR CHARGER, YOU READ THIS MANUAL AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY.
Never place charger directly above battery being charged. The gases from the battery wilI corrode and damage the charger. Never touch the battery cIamps together when the charger is on. You could cause a spark. Never operate charger if it has received a hard blow, been dropped, or otherwise damaged.
