VNR 100 • Panels and Cabling 9 Fr ont Panel Cover The front panel has a lockable cover to pr event unauthorized access to the r emovable drives. The cover has five light tubes that allow the signals from the fr ont panel LEDs to be seen when the cover is in place.
VNR 100 • Panels and Cabling 10 c USB ports (2) — used to connect a mouse and keyboard for the initial configuration. There ar e a total of four USB inputs: two r ear panel and two front panel.

VNR 100 • Configuration and Hardwar e Setup 14 Getting Started with the Enterprise Contr oller The VNR 100 Single channel recor der is contr olled by the VNM Enterprise Controller , which is used to configure and manage all Matrix devices in the system.

Use the arm to pull the caddy out of the drive bay . 5. Remove the drive. There ar e no screws to be r emoved or cable connections to be undone.
