2 Safety and warnings Impor tant! Please read the entire set of instructions before installing the wall c anopy . This wall c anopy is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision. Y oung children should be sup ervised to ensure that they do not play with the wall canop y .

4 Installation instructions Height of wall canopy Where an electric cooktop is installed beneath the wall canopy , the distanc e between the top of the cooktop and the underside of the range hood must be a minimum of 600 mm and a maximum of 700 mm.
5 Installation instructions Preparing the w all canopy for installation Before installing the wall canop y , please carefully read through the installation instructions in full. Prior to drilling any holes , check that the area behind the surface to be drilled is clear of any electrical cables or pipes etc.
6 Installation instructions 1 Establish the desired height of the rangehood above the bencht op according to the ‘Installation height requirements ’ above . Measure this distance from the top of the benchtop and, using a spirit level , draw a light horizontal line on the wall.
7 Installation instructions 5 Drill holes and secure the rangehood to the wall. Depending on the wall type (concrete , dry wall etc) drill/screw appropriat e fittings in the two locations just marked. The rangehood should now be able to be hung on these bolts/ screws through the two keyholes in the hood .

9 Cleaning and maintenanc e Caution! Never use abrasiv e or oil based liquid cleaners. General maintenance The manufacturer is not liable for an y damage caused by not following these instructions. The wall canopy should be cleaned r egularly using warm water with soap or mild liquid detergents .
10 Light bulb replacemen t (Screw-in 230V/Max 25W ) 1 Switch off the pow er to the wall canopy . 2 Remove the aluminium mesh filters (or char coal filters if fitted). 3 Unscrew the old bulb , and screw in the new replacement bulb . 4 Refit aluminium mesh, or charcoal filters .
11 Manufac turer’ s w arranty Y ou automatically receive a 2 year Manufacturer’ s W arranty with the purchase of this Product cov ering par ts and labour for servicing within the country of purchase.
12 Cust omer care Before y ou call for service or assistance… Check the things you can do yourself . Refer to your U ser Guide and check: 1 Y our appliance is correctly installed.
