19 SA FETY Prec autions before using • Unpack all the materi als. • The instal latio n and connecti ng of the applian ce have to be done by approved special ists. The ma nufa ctu rer can not be responsi ble for damage caused by buildi ng - in or conn ecting errors.

22 Ventilation The cooli ng sy stem is fully automatic. The cool ing fan starts w ith a low speed when the c alor ies brought out by the elect ronic sy stem reach a certain l evel. The v entilation starts hi s hig h speed when the hob is int ens ively used.
23 Power selecti on zone “S LIDER ” and tim er setting zone To select the pow er wi th the slider , slide y our finger on t he “SLID ER” zone. Y ou can alr eady have a direct access if y ou put your f inger directly on the ch osen level .
24 Residual heat indication After th e switch o ff of a he ating zone or t he c omplete st op of the h ob, the h eating zones are stil l hot and indicat es [ H ] on the displ ay. The sy mbol [ H ] disap pears when t he heating zones may be t o uched without danger.

28 Pan dim ension The cooking zones are, until a certain limit, automatically adapted to the di ameter of the pan. How ever the botto m of t his pa n must hav e a minimu m of di ameter acc ording to th e corres ponding cooking zone. To obtai n the bes t efficiency of your hob, pl ease place th e pan w ell in the centr e of the cooking zone.
