INA-W 910R Navigation Sof tware Owner’s M anual 7 2 Getting started W hen using the navigati on software for the f irst tim e, an initial setu p process starts automaticall y. Do as follow s: 1. Select the written language of the application inter face.

It shows the current positi on (the Vehim arker, a blue arrow b y default), the r ecomm ended route (an ora nge line), and the sur rounding m ap area.

Streets and roads that are excluded fr om the navigation You can choos e whether you want to use or avoid certain road types (page 71).

The m ap stops following the curren t position (the Vehim arker, a blue arrow b y default, is not l ocked in a fix position o n the screen any more) and control buttons appear to help you modif y the m ap view.

The searc h is always carried out • along the recom mended route if it exists or • around your cur rent location if there is no destina tion given.

The Destinatio n menu app ears and you can select the start po int of the route t he same way you select a destination.
INA-W 910R Navigation Sof tware Owner’s M anual 53 3.4.3 Editing the list of destinations (Edi t Route ) You c an edit the route by m odifying the list of destin ations. You can ad d or r emove destinations, m odify the sta rt position or reord er the list.

Both f unctions are sub ject to data availability. 4.1.7.1 Historical tra ffic If statistical traf fic information is store d with the m ap data, the software can take them into account when plann ing a route.

T he blue arrow represe nts your curr ent position and m oves up as you travel. W aypoints and T raffic events are also displa y e d on the line.
