Crossover Network Settings Configuration du filtre de voies Jumper Group Function Please read the following pages carefully to determine which network configuration is most appropriate for your particular installation.
Crossover Network Settings System T ype 1 Speaker Placement Description: In this system type, woofer and tweeter are mounted close together at an equal distance from the listener . Configuration A is the default setting of the network, but assumes essentially on axis positioning.
Crossover Network Settings System T ype 1 Filter Description: In this system type, both woofer and tweeter are equidistant from the listening position and mounted close together . While the kick-panel is one of the more common locations to achieve this, it is certainly not the only one.
Crossover Network Settings System T ype 2 Speaker Placement Description: In this system type , w oofer and tweeter are mounted at diff erent locations and at diff erent distances from the listener .
Crossover Network Settings System T ype 2 Filter Description: In this system type, both woofer and tweeter are mounted apart at dif ferent distances and angles relative to the listening position, with the tweeter as the closest driver .
Crossover Network Settings System T ype 3 Speaker Placement Description: In this system type, woofer and tweeter are mounted close together on the dashboard, rear deck, or other surface that presents an oblique angle to the listener .
Crossover Network Settings System T ype 3 Filter Description: Despite the fact that both drivers are mounted in the same plane and in close proximity in this system type, their orientation results in the acoustic center of the tweeter being farther away .
Crossover Network Settings System T ype 4 (Fully/Partially Active) Speaker Placement Description: In this system type , some le vel of e xter nal signal processing is a vailable , allo wing use of the network in a par tially or ev en fully active mode.
Crossover Network Settings System T ype 4 Filter Description: Fully active systems have often been considered to be the most flexible, but they are certainly not the most effective in all cases.
