2 ROOM AIR CONDITIONER W ARRANTY Y our product is protected by this warranty Y our appliance is warranted by Electrolux. Electrolux has authorized Frigidair e Consumer Services and their authorized servicer s to perform service under this war- ranty .
3 Pr oduct Registration Record Y our Model and Serial Numbers Record in the space pr ovided below the model and serial numbers. On most models, the serial plate is located on the outside of the cabinet. On some models, r emove the filter and look at the bottom edge of the air conditioner behind the front grille for the model and serial numbers.
4 Important Safety Instructions Read all instructions before using this air conditioner . For Y our Safety Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance. Read product labels for flammability and other warnings.
5 Air Conditioner Featur es ELECTRONIC CONTROL OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS Before you begin, thor oughly familiarize yourself with the contr ol panel and r emote as shown below and all its functions. Then follow the symbol for the functions you desire. The unit can be contr olled by the touch pad alone or with the remote.
6 DO THIS: PRESS F AN SPEED BUTTON SELECT AUTO FAN Note: The fan speed will begin in HI, then adjust to MED and LO as the r oom temperatu r e conditions indictates. For example in cooling, if the r oom doesn ’ t get too warm it will stay at LO. If the r oom temperatu r e rises quickl y , such as a door being open e d, it will automatically go to HI speed.
7 Air Conditioner Featur es (continued) YOU WILL SEE: TO OPERA TE ON FAN ONL Y : Note: Use this function only when cooling is not desired, such as for r oom air circulation. Y ou can choose any fan speed you p r efe r ,EXCEPT AUTO FAN. During this function, the display will show the actual current temperatur e, not the set temperature as in the cooling mode.

10 Car e and Cleaning Clean your air conditioner occasionally to keep it looking new . Be sure to unplug the unit before cleaning to pr event shock or fire hazards. Air Filter Cleaning The air filter should be checked at least once a month to see if cleaning is necessary .
11 A void Service Checklist OCCURRENCE SOLUTION Before calling for service, r eview this list. It may save you time and expense. This list includes common occurrences that ar e not the result of defective workman- ship or materials in this appliance. Air conditioner will not operate.
