D VD-RW discs allow y ou to re cord programmes repeatedly , and the recorded contents can be erased.
22 EN After recording, you must finalise the disc to play it bac k in other pla yers . (See page 33.) Y ou cannot finalise discs in other D VD recorders.

24 EN Insert a recor dabl e disc. 1 In stop mode, press [SETUP]. 2 Select “D VD Menu” using [ K L ], then press [ENTER]. 3 Select “Format” using [ K L ], then press [ENTER]. 4 Select “Start” using [ K L ], then press [ENTER]. A pop up window will appear and prompt you to confirm.

This unit has no tuner system so it cannot receive TV broadcasts without an external tuner or such devices.
26 EN Timer Recording Y ou can set the unit to record up to 12 programmes , up to a month in advance . Daily or weekly progr amme recordings are als o avai la ble. • Be sure to set the clock bef ore entering a timer programming. Insert a recordable disc or a tape with a record tab.

28 EN The error number s indicate: • Timer programme with an error number will be cleared once the entr y screen for the progr amme is display ed. • If there is a power f ailure or the unit is unplugged f or more than 30 seconds, the clock setting and all timer settings will be lost.

42 EN Y ou can pla y back a title being recorded from the beginning while recording continues. This function works from 1 minute after the star t of the recording. Make sure to use a D VD-R W disc in VR mode, and the recording speed is set to 4H, 6H or 8H.
