USING YOUR DESIGN SANDWICH PRO Before first use Before first use the sandwich maker should be preheated for ten minutes closed and the tempe - rature control set to the highest setting. This will remove the smell typically encountered when first switching on the sandwich maker .
3. Y our Design Sandwich Pro is now preheating. After approx. five minutes the green indicator light will be illuminated. The appliance is now ready for use. It is important that the heating plates are preheated and greased before the first use. After finishing the first sandwich no more greasing is necessar y .
25 CARE AND CLEANING Always ensure that the appliance is switched off. Remove the plug from the power outlet befo - re cleaning and storing the appliance. Allow the appliance to cool down. WARNING! Allow the appliance to cool down, before cleaning or moving the appliance.
26 Always handle power cords with special care. Electric cables may never be knotted, twisted, pulled, strained or squeezed. Do not use any parts or accessories of the appliance for any other purpose than operating the appliance. It is good advice to store the parts of the appliance with the appliance.
