9 Adjus ting moni tor settings www .gate wa y .com Adjusting monitor settin gs Use the ex ternal controls (loca ted on the monitor itself) and softw are controls (accessible in Windows) to adjust th e display image. For more information about software controls, see “Software controls” on page 14.

F or example, you can increase the resolution t o fit more icons on your desktop, or y ou can decrease the resolut ion to make reading and identifying objects on the monitor easier .

21 Trou bleshoot ing www .gate wa y .com No picture ■ Make sure that the power cord is connected correctly to both the back of the monitor and the wall outlet. For more info rmation about connecting the power cord, see “C o nnecti ng the monitor” on page 2.
