Panel Voice Mess ages When you press the bu ttons on t he panel or the touchp ads, the p anel responds with voice messages.
Security Pro 1000 9 Panel Indicator Lights Use the following table to u nderstand the panel indicator lights. Numeric Pager Y ou may pr ogram your security s ystem to send a numeric mes sage indic ating syste m activities to your pager . The syst em will send the message twice.
Security Pro 1000 10 Canceling and Preventing Accidental Alarms One of th e biggest co ncerns you mi ght have r egarding you r security s ystem, is caus ing an accidental alarm. Most acci dental alarms occur when leaving the resi dence after arming th e system, or , before di sarming the system upon your return.
Security Pro 1000 11 If you are i nteract ive with y our panel and the pane l hangs up o n you, the system is calling in a report to the central m onitoring st ation or a pag er , due to an action made b y you or someone at th e security system site.

T o avoid f alse alarms, you r installer has progr am med the panel to wait at least a few minutes (or up to several hours) befo re calling in. • AC Power Restore - A restore will be reported wh en power is restored.

Security Pro 1000 23 System Battery Failure This condition occurs if the emergency backup battery has failed. Status beeps will start and the SYSTEM ST A TUS button will light. Press the S YSTEM ST A TUS bu t - ton to h ear the troub le message. If your AC power is n ot working, your securi ty sys- tem will shut down on ce the battery has failed.
