Defrosting by ~me Time Defrost is designed for speedy thawing of frozen food and is one of the great advantages of a microwave oven. Use Time Defrost to quickly thaw foods such as bread, rolls, vegetables, fruik and frozen dinners. Auto Defrost is preferred for meat and poultry because the oven sefi the defrosting time and power levels for you.
Cooking by Temperature Internal temperature is the best test of doneness for many foods. Temp Cook/Hold takes the guesswork out of cooking because the oven automatically switches to Hold setting after reaching the preset food temperature and maintains that temperature for up to one hour or until you touch the CLEAR/OFF pad.
How to Use the Minute/Second ~mer The MIN/SEC TIMER has three timing functions: ● It operates as a minute timer. c It can be set to delay cooking. ● It can be used as a hold setting after defrosting. The MIN/SEC TIMER operates without microwave energy.
Automatic Roasti~ Auto Roast uses the temperature probe to cook to the desired serving temperature. Unlike Temp Cook/Hold, which uses a single power level, Auto Roast - up to 3 power settings which automatically switch during roasting, thus providing even, ‘tender cooking resulk without overcooking.

You choose the appropriate code number from 1 to 6 for the food you are defrosting, then enter the fd weight in pounds and tenths of a pound (See Conversion Guide below) and touch START.
