10 D IP SWITCH CONFIGURA TIO N Sender Uni t DIP Switch 2 - Field-Upgrade Mode (Default = OFF) • ON - Enable Field Upgrade Mode (V ALENS chip) Allows the fi rmware to be up g raded on the Receiver unit. I f DIP switch 6 and / or 7 are in the O N position, R S -232 cannot be extended.

In this mode, the unit is not powered u nless +5V is detected on pin 18 o f the HDMI cable.
