Read the following guidelines before you begin to install the CPU: • Make sure that the motherboard supports the CPU.

- 33 - BIOS Setup BIOS (Bas ic I nput and Out put System ) re cords hard ware parame ters of the sy stem in the C MOS on the motherboard. Its major functions include conducting the Power-On Self-T est (POST) during system startup, saving sys tem paramete rs an d loa ding operatin g sy stem, etc.
BIOS Setup - 34 - 2-1 Startup Screen The following screens may appear when the computer boots. A. The LOGO Screen (Default) B. The POST Screen Function Keys: <T AB>: POST SCREEN Press the <T ab> key to show the BIOS POST screen.

BIOS Setup - 52 - Azalia Codec Enables or disables the onboard audio function. (Default: Auto) If you wish to install a 3rd party add-in audio card instead of using the onboard audio, set this item to Disabled . Onboard H/W LAN Enables or disables the onboard LAN function.
